Description of Nitriding Colored Titanium Valve Spring Retainers

Titanium don’t has very good Wear resistance,so usually titanium valve spring retainers will be nitrided by PVD coating,not only it can improve finish wear resistance features of titanium retainers,but also promote finish hardness of titanium retainers(Its finish hardness can reach to HV2200).Compared with titanium retainers with raw titanium color,it can further improve engine performance. The nitriding colors can be in Gold,Black,Burnt titanium and Rainbow (Also called oilslick). All of our titanium retainers will be precision CNC machined from high quality titanium Grade 5(Ti-6Al-4V) materials. And we can get excellent strength and wear resistance at 60% weight of steel retainers
